Code top-up or ID top-up?
Two methods are common:
Code top-up: you buy an officially issued redemption code and redeem it yourself in the game. Nobody touches your account and no password is ever needed, and the code works on any account. This is how AUJ works: the moment payment completes, your code appears on your order page.
ID top-up: you give the store your player ID and they push UC to your account directly. Convenient, but it requires much more trust since the whole process happens outside your hands.
Codes remain the safer option because you control every step and share nothing about your account.
How to redeem a UC code
